Reading:
The students are working on the sight words. Each student brought home their personal list of sight words to practice. Some students have spelling words they must practice at home. During SRA reading they are working on blending three sounds together. The students are working on time concepts in Language for Thinking.
Math:
The students are working on determining to add or subtract given a word problem. They continue to work on addition and subtraction related facts. They are prompted to make sure the biggest number goes first in a subtraction problem. They are prompted to put the biggest number as the answer in the addition problem. The students continue to work on rocket math. When they get to the letter Z in rocket math they will win their math medals.
Writing:
The students are working on writing a complete sentence. The students are working on describing a picture they see on the iPad. They are using their iPads to assist in writing. The iPads read back what they wrote.
